The winner of the 2024 LUX Audience Award has been announced on the 16th of April in the Hemicycle of the European Parliament in Brussels. Congratulations to the winning film ‘The Teachers’ Lounge’ directed by Ilker Çatak.
Nominated films 2024
Thanks to the LUX Audience Award, the five nominated films are subtitled in the 24 official EU languages in order to be screened in all EU Member States and beyond.
Each year, the European Parliament organises free screenings of nominated films across the EU and invites European audiences to have their say by rating the films on luxaward.eu. Among those who have rated, ten individuals will be selected to attend an all-expenses-paid trip to the LUX Audience Award Ceremony in the European Parliament and be present for the official announcement of the winning film.
